Encoded as Windows Media File Format
High quality cameras (High Definition) are used for all events producing broadcast quality pictures.
During the ceremony and speeches two cameras are used, the main camera operated from a tripod, the secondary camera in a fixed position, this adds interest to the footage, and allows capture of reactions from guests.
Slide show and jpeg files included
Using High Definition cameras allows us to not only provide a 30 shot slide show (set to music - See below for music options). But we will also included these as jpeg files (1440 x 1080 pixels) on the DVD disc for you to print off or send to relatives.
Highlights Video on DVD and Windows Media File
A 4-6 minute highlights video of the day set to music (see below for music options).
Ideal to give people a flavour of your wedding, or to show people that don't have time (or attention span!) to watch the whole day.
We will even include a compressed windows media file on the DVD for you to E-mail to friends and relatives.*
*Files are typically 10-15MB and will generally require broadband connection to send and receive, see example highlights video
Menu Driven DVD
All DVD's come with a menu as standard allowing you to quickly navigate to just the point your after. Menu features include "Play All, Chapter Selection, Highlights Video, Slide Show, and Extras.
The Chapter Selection page generally details the different sections of the day e.g. Arrival of Bride, Photos, Speeches etc..
The Extras menu usually includes interviews with the guest and any other special bits caught on the day.
Interviews with Guests
One of the included options on the booking form (See The Process below) is for interviews with guests, usually just a quick "message for the bride and groom". This can allow everyone to play a part in the video. Normally you will need to nominate someone to cajole guests. This is ideally someone who will know most of the guests e.g. Brides mother.
DVD in library Case
DVDs are supplied in a hard library case with printing on the cover and disc with images taken from your wedding. If copies are required in VHS format these are also supplied in hard library cases, with colour printing to the case only. Padded and presentation cases can be purchased at an additional cost.
Editing
All options include a high standard of editing. Both the Ceremony and Speeches are reproduced in their entirity (unless you specifically ask for something to be cut - See The Process below). The rest of the day is edited down to give a DVD no longer than 90 minutes in length.
The Process
1) Choose the amount of time you require us to attend on the day (See Prices and Offers below)
2) Simply E-mail or Telephone (01727 840415) to check your date is available and to clarify any further questions.
3) We will then send you a quotation and booking form. To hold your booking you simply need to send a deposit of £50.
4) Around 6-4 weeks before the event we will send out a Wedding questionarre form. This is to help us capture everything on the day, give details of music, locations, style of editing, details of photographer etc..
5) If the location hasn't been visited before we will visit and/or telephone the event location to check for filming restrictions, capture some establishing shots etc..
6) On the day we will aim to be on site around 60 minutes before the ceremony to enable setting up of tripods, static cameras etc.. and capture guests and grooms arrival. During the day we will keep a low profile and will only approach the bride or groom for pieces to camera if this has been requested on the booking form.
7) Once the filming is complete, the initial editing will take around 2-3 weeks, depending on the time of year and work load (Upto 8 weeks in peak season). Then a timecoded proof will be sent to the bride and groom for approval and to allow any minor changes to be made.
8) Once this is complete copies will be posted out within a few days. Master copies of the tapes and edited DVD will be kept unless specifically ask to be destroyed.
